🍇 Rock Stream Vineyards — Estate Winery & Wedding‑Friendly Tasting Experience

Rock Stream Vineyards is an estate winery owned and operated by Dr. Mark Karasz, a West Point graduate, retired Army Lieutenant Colonel, and PhD chemist whose three‑year tour in Italy inspired a passion for crafting wine and Grappa. After returning home, Mark founded Rock Stream Vineyards and began growing quality grapes and producing award‑winning artisanal wines, grape brandy, liqueurs, Grappa, and ports.

Located on Route 14 and Fir Tree Point Road on the west side of Seneca Lake, the tasting room has been open since 2005 and is proudly Seneca Lake’s oldest licensed Grappa and Grape Brandy distillery. Guests can enjoy a diverse lineup featuring 18 wines, 7 liqueurs, 1 brandy, 2 Grappas, 2 ports, and 5 beers on tap from Grist Iron Beer Company.

Behind the winery, couples will find a beautiful vineyard with scenic views of the grapes, creating a picturesque backdrop for wedding weekends, rehearsal dinners, or intimate celebrations. Rock Stream also offers a 20’ x 30’ tent just outside the tasting room doors, with space to accommodate a larger tent behind the winery for expanded events.

For celebrations, Rock Stream provides open bar options including wine, beer, and spirits — available as tastings or by the glass. Couples can even enjoy specialty mixed drinks crafted with their own spirits, such as Espresso Chocolate Martinis or Blue Hawaiis. Their Bubbly Niagara is a guest favorite and makes a perfect celebratory pour for receptions and toasts.
