Petal & Timber is the passion project of Julie Zimpfer. When planning her own wedding finding flowers without an outrageous minimum was a challenge. When she did, they were not what she expected. Luckily Julie had a back up plan. She had been working on painting her own wood flowers for her wedding just in case the flowers she ordered were not what she expected. 💐

On wedding day the photographer asked where the flowers on the cake table were from (arranged and painted by Julie), because they looked completely different from the bouquets, and higher quality. That was where Petal & Timber started. When Julie realized there were more brides out there wanting something gorgeous on their wedding day, and affordable. Add in the eco-friendly concept of flowers that will last and it was an easy decision to start working with brides seeking an alternative to fresh flowers, without spending half their budget on flowers. 🌷
